Level: Easy/Medium
Program: Photoshop 7
Translatable: No
Steps: 6
Includes: Selective Color, Channel Mixer and Color Balance.

1. We start cropping our base picture, I'm using a pic of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.

You might need to duplicate your base and set it to screen or add a curves layer depending on how dark your image is.
2. Layer >> New Fill Layer >> Solid Color. I use a very dark blue (#000818) and set it to Exclusion.

See? We added a more creamy look but It still looks very similar to the original picture. So let's go on.
3. Layer >> New Fill Layer >> Solid Color. I use a light pink (#FEBCC5) and set it to Soft Light 47%.

4. Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Selective Color (Method: Relative)
REDS : -30 // +5 // +41
YELLOWS: -54 // +10 // +31
WHITES: -29 // -29 // -43 // +16
NEUTRALS: +5 // 0 // +15 // +5

5. Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Channel Mixer
RED: +88 // +8 // -2 // +4
BLUE: +12 // -16 // +116 // +6

6. Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Color Balance (Preserve Luminosity unchecked)
MIDTONES: +28 // +29 // -7
SHADOWS: -20 // -18 // -25
And The final result:

What have we learned? Sometimes it takes a lot to acomplish a really simple coloring :P
